Beat Habegger is professor at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), where he co-leads the Institute for Nonprofit and Public Management at the School of Business. He also works as a consultant in risk management and strategic foresight, teaches business & politics at the University of St. Gallen, and serves as an elected member of the Parliament of the Canton of Zurich.
Previously, Beat worked at Swiss Re and ETH Zurich, as a consultant, and as research associate at the UN, the OSCE, and the Council of Europe.
Beat studied international relations, economics, business, and public law at the University of Bern, Sciences Po Paris, and the University of St Gallen, where he earned an MA and a PhD.
