Founded in 1884 as a cutler's workshop, Victorinox has stood for quality, functionality, innovation, and design for 140 years. In 1891, the company supplied soldier's knives to the Swiss Army for the first time. In 1897, Karl Elsener developed the Swiss Officer's and Sports Knife – today's iconic Swiss Army Knife. Today, Victorinox is a global company with four product categories: Swiss Army Knives, Household and Professional Knives, Watches, and Travel Gear.
