7.5 Million Lost Workdays Annually Due to Leisure Accidents – What to Do?

Approximately 600,000 working individuals are involved in leisure accidents each year at home, during sports, or on the road – resulting in 7.5 million lost workdays in Switzerland. Absences due to non-occupational accidents have significant consequences for companies, entailing considerable administrative and organizational effort, requiring temporary employees to be hired and trained, and leading to overtime. In the worst case, deadlines cannot be met, and customers are lost. All of this costs money.
