Markus Hugentobler, Dr. iur. from the University of Zurich, has been working at Centre Patronal since August 2010. In his role, he advises employers on labor law issues and related interface areas, represents legal interests in out-of-court contexts, drafts and reviews documents such as employment contracts and regulations, and conducts courses, conferences, and webinars on topics related to labor law, immigration law, social security law, and data protection law. As part of a two-person team, he is the responsible editor of the Handbook of Immigration Law. Additionally, he holds teaching positions at FHNW and ZHAW and serves as a part-time judge at the Schaffhausen High Court. He has publications in labor law, social security law, data protection law, criminal law, and association law. In his work, he particularly values personal contact with clients and contributing his wealth of experience from his previous roles in the public employment sector and private industry. He is keen to help set the right course in a timely manner to avoid exhausting legal disputes.
